Dakos Cretan Rusks
A rustic Greek classic with tomatoes, cheese, herbs, and olive oil.
Dakos is simple, bright, and built around excellent olive oil. Serve it as an appetizer, light lunch, or shared mezze.
Ingredients
- Cretan barley rusks
- Ripe tomatoes
- Greek olive oil
- Feta or mizithra cheese
- Oregano
Instructions
- Lightly moisten the rusks and place them on a serving plate.
- Spoon grated tomato over the rusks.
- Top with cheese, oregano, and generous olive oil.
